Sri Lanka’s Gambling Regulatory Authority has blocked 24 international gaming operators, including bet365 and Unibet, for operating without proper authorization. The regulator instructed the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission to restrict network access for the listed companies.
According to Sri Lanka Newswire, the regulatory body compiled the blacklist after identifying operators conducting business within the country without the mandatory licensing framework. Authorities directed local telecommunications providers to implement the network restrictions, effectively cutting off player access to the affected platforms.
